Leader - Now the challenge must be to revive 1.5

As the delegates disperse and the venue is dismantled, it is hard to conclude Glasgow COP26 was a success. The aim was to reach an agreement that would limit dangerous global warming to no more than 1.5C by 2100 – to “keep 1.5 alive”. If that target is viable at all, it is hanging by a thread on life support.
